INSPIRE 2017 Conference Programme Available

The programme for the INSPIRE 2017 Conference, "INSPIRE a digital Europe: Thinking out of the box" has been published.  The conference programme includes 2 days of workshops in Kehl, Germany, on 4 and 5 September 2017, followed by 3 days of plenaries, parallel sessions with oral presentations,  discussion sessions, poster session and industry exhibition in Strasbourg, France, from 6-8 September 2017. The opening session features Mr Nicolas Hulot, Mr Thomas de Maizière, Mr Philippe Richert, Mr Peter Hauk, Mr Roberto Viola and Mr Daniel Valleja.

The plenary opening session will be followed by workshops and presentations with on Thursday another plenary theme session on ‘Regions at work: benefits of INSPIRE implementation for territorial management, environment and eGovernment’ with  Mr Hartmut J. Streuff, Mr Mário  Caetano, Mr Hilmar von Lojewski, Ms Ana Moreira, Ms Margarita Caletrío Arcos and Mr Luc Zwank. On that afternoon, there’s a second plenary session: ‘INSPIRE a Digital Europe:  Thinking out of the box… and looking to the future’ concluding the day before the conference dinner.

Since 2007, the INSPIRE Conference, a EU-wide event brings together participants from public administrations, policy makers, industry, academia, presenting their experience and discussing benefits and issues around sharing geospatial information.

Early registration is open until 31 July.
