Luminent LLC has announced the release of the Regulatory Accelerator, a geospatial software application that uses intelligent automation to acquire data from a company's existing databases in order to automate required regulatory compliance while using that same data to provide the ‎company's leadership with predictive and actionable insights.

“The first application of our system is designed to assist oil and gas pipeline operators. For instance, for a pipeline operator, the Regulatory Accelerator can not only automate annual report generation but will calculate integrity management performance metrics, distinguish and differentiate different risks, and will provide insight into facility-specific information that can be used to form the basis of future investment decisions.

Designed to be a distributed system that integrates data from multiple databases or geographic information systems, the software can also track real-time changes to a physical facility such as a complex pipeline system, further simplifying regulatory filings and strategic decisions.
