GIS Professional welcomes professional contributions for publication in any forthcoming issue. This can be on a wide range of topics including GNSS, Big Data, Addressing, Emergency Services Mapping, Drone Surveys, BIM, Smart Cities and/or anything GIS related. We discourage academic articles and those written for a specific scientific audience, and papers focusing upon specific, commercial GIS products.
Before sending in an article, please ensure that it complies with our Features Guidelines
We would ask you please to read through these guidelines carefully. Themes and deadlines can be found in our media pack.
Please email any contributions to Niall Conway at niall.conway@gis-professional.com
All articles for publication are subject to review by our editor. After acceptance articles will be edited and checked for English language style and grammar. So a clearly comprehensible text is more important than perfect spelling or grammar. All material submitted to the publisher (Geomares Publishing UK) and relating to GIS Professional will be treated as unconditionally assigned for publication under copyright, subject to the editor’s unrestricted right to edit and offer editorial comment.
GIS Professional welcomes press releases from the GIS industry. These could feature on the website, in the weekly newsletter or in either the News section of the magazine. Please email any contributions to Jason Poole at editor@geomares.co.uk
