Ultra-high-resolution aerial photography and 3D landscape models from Bluesky are helping Outfield Technologies to develop innovative image recognition techniques to improve agricultural land management and crop production. In addition to the pioneering research project, the Bluesky data is also providing estate managers with up-to-date and accurate mapping for subsidy applications, planning proposals and corroboration of existing data and reports. Bluesky Partners with FATMAP to Create Interactive 3D Ski Maps

Aerial mapping company Bluesky is working with FATMAP to create ultra-high resolution 3D mobile maps of the world’s major ski resorts and other popular outdoor pursuit destinations. Working alongside tender lead IIC Technologies and Ordnance Survey, Bluesky captured ultra-high resolution aerial photography together with high density LiDAR measurements. Cadcorp Launches Risk Modeller for Fire and Rescue Services

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software developer Cadcorp has released a new application to help fire services determine aggregate risk. Risk Modeller provides analytical functionality for determining risk by combining the effects of spatial and attribute data from a range of different layers.
