Christopher P. Haakon Joins IDELIX Advisory Board

IDELIX Software Inc. (Canada) has announced that Christopher P. Haakon, a member of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Transformation Advisory Group and former CEO and General Manager of Boeing Autometric (previously Autometric), has joined the visualisation software company’s Board of Advisors. Mr. Haakon will advise IDELIX as the company further establishes itself as a visualisation leader in the defence and intelligence community.
Mr. Haakon brings to IDELIX over forty years of experience in corporate management and building strategic business partnerships within the US Defence and Intelligence community. Prior to his current consulting role, he most recently held the position of Geospatial Initiative Program Director for General Dynamics. He joined General Dynamics following an impressive 40-year career with Boeing-Autometric (previously Autometric Inc.). Mr. Haakon’s extensive operational and technical background includes imagery analysis and training, requirements analysis, and research in multi-sensor imagery. He is also a retired Navy Reserve Captain who held four command tours, culminating in his service as Reserve Intelligence Area Commander in Washington, DC.
