DGI 2009 Conference

DGI conference is an annual event bringing together heads of defense and government geospatial intelligence communities of world-leading countries, as well as representatives of remote sensing, geoinformatics and web-mapping industries. ScanEx specialists will speak about projects on the creation of RS Centers at universities based on the universal small-size ‘UniScan\' ground receiving station and the software for space data processing and display.

International conflicts prevention and response, security and border control, climate changes, emergencies and technological disasters monitoring - this is by far not the complete list of issues, tackled by DGI 2009 from the viewpoint of implementing technology innovations and integrated architecture solutions.

Over 200 organisations and agencies have already confirmed their participation in the conference. Traditionally, Russia is represented at DGI exhibition by defense industry enterprises. For the first time the Russian private company ScanEx RDC, the leader on the Russian market of remote sensing data reception and processing, will take part in this conference.

The new joint proposal of the Russian ScanEx RDC and Israeli ImageSat Int. for higher education institutions will be voiced at the conference: supply of UniScan ground station with one-year license to free reception of 100 scenes from EROS A satellite (spatial resolution of 1,9m).
