QuickBird Imagery for Canberra

The Department of Urban Services in Canberra (Australia) has bought DigitalGlobe (CO, USA) QuickBird satellite imagery from Sinclair Knight Merz, a DigitalGlobe business partner. The imagery serves the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Locate, an internet interactive mapping interface. The Australian government acquired the same imagery over the ACT in 2002. In 2004, the Department of Urban Services acquired a new set of images over the area. Both sets of images are available in ACT Locate.
