RapidEye AG (Germany) has joined the V Anniversary International Conference “Remote Sensing – the Synergy of High Technologies”as a silver sponsor. The conference is to take place in Moscow, Russia from 13th to 15th April.

RapidEye AG Company (Germany) is a German space engineering company, with support from the German Space Agency (DLR). RapidEye provides geospatial products and services, as well as consulting solutions, derived from Earth observation data. The primary source of this data is the RapidEye constellation of five imaging satellites (which were launched successfully on 29th August 2008) that are capable of imaging large areas of land at high resolution on a frequent basis. Head office is situated in Brandenburg.

Vice president of the company Ph.D John S. Ahlrichs will present the report about governmental programs and international projects. He will also tell about special conditions offered to high schools.

The annual conference "Remote Sensing - the Synergy of High Technologies" is an event for geoinformation and for the whole IT community. It is an opportunity for managers, experts, and scientists working in Russian and foreign state organisations, commercial companies, research and educational institutes to gain knowledge and exchange experience.
