Thailand Orders Total Stations

The Thai Department of Lands (DOL) has signed a contract for the purchase of 151 units of Sokkia RED-tech EDM-equipped Reflectorless Total Stations through S.D.M. Company Limited, Sokkia's exclusive distributor for Thailand. The DOL embarked upon a nation-wide cadastral survey project aiming for land rights to be issued throughout the country within three years of the project start date of October 2003. Purchasing a large number of Sokkia RED-tech Reflectorless Total Stations was an important step towards accomplishing this challenging task by the target date of September 2006. All instruments will be put in use in the year 2005.
